The Escort Passport 9500i varies its sensitivity based on your vehicle speed. At interstate speeds, all radar bands operate at full sensitivity; at slower speeds, X and K-band sensitivity is minimized. Alert volume automatically adjusts to your radio and other vehicle sounds to make sure it's audible.
