I wanted to get the Zoom H4 for a long time but I never got around to buying it. Now, I am glad that I waited. Zoom H2 has much more to offer and it took much less out of my pocket! The Zoom H2 SD Handy Recorder definitely lives up to its moniker. It is as big as I my 30GB iPod and is very portable. Though the Zoom H2 Digital Stereo Recorder was originally designed with 3 mic capsules, now it includes 4 mics. Well, I, for one, am definitely not complaining.

Zoom 2 Track Audio Recorder

I take the Zoom H2 SD Handy Recorder everywhere - seminars, conferences, electronic news gatherings (ENGs), podcasting, musical performances, songwriting sessions, rehearsals, and what not! The other day, I was listening to a concert that I had recorded on the Zoom H2 Digital Stereo Recorder, I almost felt I was hearing it live! Well, recoding in 360-degree surround sound will have its advantage. Recording with the Zoom H2 is quite easy. It took me all of 5 minutes to get acquainted with its interface.

Though I usually operate the device while holding it, the Zoom 2 Track Audio Recorder can be fitted either to the stand or mic stand adapter. Using the H2’s USB interface, I can move recordings to my PC to listen, edit, and share.

If you are looking for a good recording device, then the Zoom H2 is right for your picking.
